BYAKKO ("we", "BYAKKO") values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the BYAKKO service (byakko.vercel.app).
Account information: the name, email, and organization name you provide at registration.
Payment information: handled by our payment processors Dodo Payments / Paddle; we do not store your full credit-card number.
Usage data: API call volume, timestamps, and metadata of detection events, used to provide and improve the Service.
Content you submit for scanning: used for real-time detection. By design we minimize retention — cross-tenant threat intelligence shares only irreversible fingerprints and abstract vectors, does not store or share raw text across tenants, and tenant identifiers are one-way hashed.
To: provide and operate the Service, bill, detect and defend against threats, improve detection models, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as necessary with service providers (such as cloud hosting, payments, error monitoring) to operate the Service, or as required by law.
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data — see the contact details below.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (encryption in transit, access control, key management). However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
